New gates for Kirby Cane churchyard

The dedication of our new churchyard gates in Memory of Hilda Wickenden Will take place at 10 am at All Saints’ Church, Kirby Cane, following Morning Prayer, on Sunday, 2 September.

Hilda served All Saints’ Church for over twenty years as a Church Warden. She was a pillar of both the village community in Kirby Cane and the church family. She was always a most practical person, and it was felt most fitting to commemorate Hilda with a similarly “practical “ memorial.
