Yard Sale and Salad Lunch, takings

The 22 July Yard sale

We raised £383 from the yard fees and map-selling. Thanks to all who took part.

Yard Sale, 22 July

We said we would be putting what we made back into the village and following Kirby Cane & Ellingham’s first ever Yard Sale we didn’t want to leave anyone out. So, we decided to split the takings between ten 10 different community activities.

PTA; Playgroup; Computer Club; Knit & Natter;
the Art group; Women’s Institute; Carpet bowls; the Playground;
the Newgate Allotments; and Keep Fit.

This does mean that our donation isn’t very big, but each have received the same amount, a token donation of £40. Hopefully next year we will be bigger and better. Can’t wait!

Cancer Research Salad Lunch

A big thankyou – to everyone who attended the Lunch at Kirby Cane Village Hall on Saturday, 18 August; to all the wonderful people who helped; and to everyone who kindly gave donations.

Thanks to your involvement and support we raised a magnificent £571.
