AIR AMBULANCE TALK, Thursday 4 April

Mark Milsom of the Air Ambulance is guest speaker at the Kirby Cane & Ellingham Annual Parish Meeting, on Thursday, 4 April, 7.00 pm. He will describe the intensive 1-hour life-support training session offered by the Air Ambulance and “bust some myths” about using a defibrillator.


LENT LUNCH, Friday 5 April

This year’s Lent Appeal by the Bishop of Norwich aims to tackle modern-day slavery in North India, by raising funds for the Diocese of Durgapur’s Anti-Trafficking programme.

The last local Lent Lunch, a modest shared meal in support of the appeal, will be hosted on Friday, 5 April, from 12.30 to 2 pm by Clare and Robert Seppings at Laburnum Cottage, Bungay Road, Stockton (tel. 01508-518197). Ring if you’re coming, please, or make a donation to this worthwhile cause.
