Sunday Coffee at Gillingham Village Hall.

Starting in September, there will be a weekly Coffee Morning every Sunday at Gillingham Village Hall in support of cancer charities. Tea, coffee and bacon sandwiches will be served between 9 am and 1 pm.

Fundraising activities in Ellingham.

Ellingham Village Hall has organised a number of fundraising activities this summer. The Bingo Night was an amazing success. The hall was full, and with prizes of up to £25 everyone had a great time. The evening raised £300 for the East Coast Hospice (contd. p 7.)

Film Shows are Back!

There will be afternoon and evening film shows once a month at Geldeston Village Hall starting in October: Red Joan (Wednesday, 16 October), Yesterday (Wednesday,20 November) and Fisherman’s Friends (Wednesday, 18 December).

There will also be a showing of Bohemian Rhapsody, early in November. If you missed it last time — or want to watch it again – here’s your chance. Keep your eyes peeled for more details.

Flying the Red Ensign, 3 September.
