or Accompanied Visit to the Water Treatment Works (Kirby Cane)
Both events meet at Memorial Hall at 9.00 am ready to leave at 9.30 and will both return to the Hall.
Refreshments will be available for sale before and after the events – there is no charge for walks although donations for the Memorial Hall will be gratefully accepted.
The visit to the Water Treatment Works is limited to the first 25 people who sign up on the day. It is likely to last up to two hours in total.
The guided Parish Walk covers approximately 3.5 miles on local footpaths and lanes.
Both events will involve some road walking. Those taking part should wear suitable clothing and footwear for the weather on the day, including High Visibility jackets if you have them.
Children must be accompanied and supervised at all times.
Parish Councillors and volunteers will act as guides at both events.
