Tidings, October 2019

including the use of an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)

3 October 2019, 7.30 pm, a Talk at Kirby Cane Village Hall.

The course includes instruction on administering Basic Life Support to a person suffering a cardiac arrest and includes the use of an AED. A number of Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) manikins are also used to give realistic, hands-on experience of the all-important techniques used in CPR.

NB: this course ONLY shows how to administer CPR and use a Defibrillator – it does not entail any other First Aid.

The course is delivered by a retired police officer, a volunteer with the East Anglian Air Ambulance, who has also been involved with Norfolk Blood Bikes and the East Anglian Children’s Hospice.
