“Music in The Park” raised £1,000!

Thank you to everyone who attended our “Music in the Park” event on Saturday, 22 September. Despite the shower of rain towards the end, we kept on dancing.

We’re so grateful for the support we received to make it a success: we hope the next time the event will be even bigger and better. Our two bands, “Best of Both” and “Strap’t for Cash”, did an amazing job and kept going through the wind and rain. Thank you!

Thanks also to the stall holders who produced our wonderful food snacks and drink – Yoohoo donuts, the Brownie lady, the Bull of the Woods brewery, Lisa and Ros with the burger van, Emma’s jacket potatoes and Jim’s ice creams.

The Sunshine Artists did a great job painting faces and braiding hair. And we must not forget the lads from St. John’s Ambulance, our parking attendants, the gate ladies, the behind-the-scenes guys and, obviously, our team. Thank you all.

As a result, we raised a cracking £1,000 xx – whoop whoop!
