Fast Broadband in the Waveney Group

(April 2020)

Gillingham & W. Geldeston (01502 exchange); Ellingham, Kirby Cane, Stockton & E. Geldeston (01508 exchange)

It is now possible to get fast broadband across our five parishes. For example, over twenty companies (listed below) operate in the area covered by the Tidings editor’s postcode in the centre of Geldeston.

To find out who is offering fast broadband in your street, and what they are charging for the service, go first to the Openreach website and enter your postcode there. Openreach, formerly part of British Telecom, installed and maintains the network, “the lines, poles and cables used to provide phone, broadband and TV services”. It does not itself act as a supplier.
