The rationale for tickets and venue choice is that we can control numbers and ensure social-distancing in these unprecedented times – venue is purely based on population centre and size of venue as we re-emerge from another lockdown – as the Prime Minister said, ‘’tis the season to be jolly careful’.

Some of the allocation is for family bubbles of 3-4 people together – so that they can share one pew – and the remainder are individual tickets so that either one or two people can sit on a pew socially-distanced (or for a couple together). Up to two tickets will be allowed per order, so as to ensure as many people can access the services as possible – this could be, for example:

Two family tickets OR One family ticket + one individual ticket
OR Two individual tickets (for a couple).

Next year, if we really are back to normal (…) then I will really look forward to every one of our churches hosting carol services and with a whole range of other services besides, such as Christingles, school services, lantern festivals, masses, etc. If your church is not hosting a Christmas service this year, then please do rest-assured that you will be next year.

Every blessing to you all and I hope you get the tickets that you would like!
